WHY: To connect with legislators and discuss the harm that proposed staffing ratio legislation would have on the workforce and access to care.
The MONL Board of Directors and Advocacy Committee invite you to attend the Hospitals for Patient Access Advocacy Day on September 13th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the MHA Capitol Advocacy Center in Lansing.
We are partnering with the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) to connect with legislators to discuss the substantial harm that proposed legislation mandating registered nurse staffing ratios would have on patient access to care, and real solutions to train and hire more nurses.
Members will have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with lawmakers, engage with legislative leadership and more.
